Queensland’s Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat is launching Mastering Menopause, a special 4 day women’s retreat that navigates the hormonal journey of fertility to menopause and beyond. The first retreat will be held from 18 – 22 August 2024 and helmed by leading holistic medical doctor and women’s health expert, Dr Karen Coates. She will be joined by Vanessa Gray Lyndon, an Australian leader in natural skincare and Naturopath, Katlyn Martin.

Karen Coates is a trail blazer in preventative health strategies and says there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to managing Menopause; ‘We all experience different symptoms and respond to different solutions in our own ways. This retreat is an opportunity to share experiences, learn from each other and connect through the educational seminars, daily walks and array of recreational activities.

Attendees will be empowered through current, science-backed expert information and armed with a roadmap for their health journey as common misconceptions of perimenopause and menopause are debunked, they hear how to anticipate and manage the challenges associated with this phase of life, and they discover the non-negotiable lifestyle interventions for a smoother transition. Dr Karen will also discuss the role genetics plays during this pivotal period and helpful strategies for maintaining psychological wellbeing.

Unique inclusions for this retreat will include a women’s tea circle, intimate session with Vanessa Gray Lyndon and yoga for menopause, which features restorative and supportive poses to reduce stress and provide symptomatic relief.

F
ully inclusive packages for the Mastering Menopause Retreat start from $2,640 per person twin share and include accommodation, specialty seminars, all scheduled activities, 100% organic meals and snacks and selected spa treatments.
