Cuisine

Gwinganna’s superb organic cuisine is a delight to the senses using premium seasonal, local, organic wholefoods prepared simply to showcase the wonderful produce our chefs use every day.

Food Philosophy

Our food philosophy centres around seasonal, local, organic wholefoods with much of the produce harvested daily from our extensive onsite gardens.Menus vary with each program and are designed in conjunction with our nutritionist. Gluten free and dairy free, the aim is to help support and improve digestion and liver detoxification, reduce inflammation, improve gut bacteria and balance blood sugar levels.

Chefs

Steven Crawford and Justin Addie are our co-chefs at Gwinganna. These 2 extraordinary chefs lead the team who prepare all the delicious meals we serve each week on retreat. Working together, they are a seamless team who share their knowledge and skills.

Garden

Gwinganna is home to four abundant organic garden areas and an orchard. They are the largest of any retreat in Australasia and feature two vegetable and two herb gardens. Overall there are around 42 varieties of fruits growing on the property. The Orchard alone features trees that produce lychees, oranges, limes, mango, persimmons, macadamias, papaya and lemons. The gardens also grow vital health ingredients including turmeric, ginger and chilli.

Cookbook

The Gwinganna Gourmet Cookbook is a collection of recipes, thoughtfully crafted with love and care designed to nourish the whole family. From vibrant salads to comforting soups, innovative protein-rich, plant- based plates, party show-stoppers, to irresistible, happiness-boosting treats – all with a harmonious union of flavour and nutrition.
